Makeup Revolution Amazing Lipstick
100% Vamp, Rebel With Cause, Depraved, Crime, Vice, Luscious, Treat, Mystify, Dusky, The One, Nude
To start off the Makeup Revolution Haul with a bang, I first want to review all the Makeup Revolution Amazing Lipstick I bought! I already own SO many lipsticks but, you can never have enough – am I right? There’s about 30 shades to choose from bright coral summer lips to dark vampy lips! There’s a shade for everyone! I purchased 11 lipsticks for $1.85 CAD each. I purchased mostly creme shades because matte does not want to work well with my lips no matter how much I exfoliate and moisturize. The packaging is pretty decent being a $1.85 lipstick – can’t complain, although the caps don’t seem to shut to well. It’s shiny black with the colour of the lipstick on the cap (which is perfect to distinguish colours) and the logo which rubs off eventually. One thing I’d probably change is where the name of the lipstick is, instead of the cap I’d put it at the bottom of it – less confusion y’know?
DESCRIPTION: You will be amazed at the quality of the lipstick – this is your MUST HAVE lipstick, and better still, amazing value at £1 each so you can collect them all! Over 20 shades of this creamy, long lasting lipstick with high colour payoff. From nudes to brights, mattes to creamy there is something to suit everyone. With 2 Lipstick Collections too – The Scandalous Collection full of neon and bright colours and The Vamp Collection with your on trend purple and dark shades.
The quality of each lipstick is decent but not the best, it has some pigmentation – but definitely has to be built on. I found it to be creamy and soft with a faint smell of raspberries? And it’s not sticky! Your hair wont stick to your lips – which I must say is obnoxious when it does. You can wear almost each lipstick almost sheer or build them up to an opaque colour although some may look patchy. Each lipstick varies in wear time, I find the creamier it is the less staying power it has but the glossiness seems to wear down to a beautiful sheen. On average the lipsticks last about 3-5 hours before reapplying – it fades nice and evenly – doesn’t bug me in the slightest giving the lipsticks are cheap. It may differ for some depending if you’re eating, lick your lips, etc. All in all, the cream ones are pretty good and the matte one I purchased I don’t really like…it makes my lips feel and look really dry and clings onto everything if you haven’t exfoliated/moisturized.

Overall I’m pleased with my purchase and how pigmented and creamy they are and would definitely re-buy some colours, and more if they come out with different shades!
What’s your go-to lip shade? Have you tried any Makeup Revolution lippies? What’s your favourite?
I love the range of colours with this line. I would definitely wear ‘Rebel with a Cause’! Nice picks and good post 🙂

They do have a pretty nice range, although I’d love to see more dark colours!
Rebel with cause is one of my favourites, going to be my right hand man this fall.
